Please bring along the required documents during your visit to our Customer Service Centre at PWC Building or Toa Payoh. Termination of Utilities Supply Forms are available at our customer service counters.

For terminations submitted via Fax or Mail, please allow a minimum of 3 business days for your termination request to be processed.

For termination of account due to deceased cases

Please download the Termination of Utilities Supply Form and the Authorisation & Indemnity Form, fax it to 6304 8229 or mail to us with a copy of your NRIC, account holder's death certificate and proof of relationship with the account holder.

For transfer of account to next of kin, please download the Application Form for Utilities Account instead of the Termination of Utilities Supply Form and submit it to us with the required documents. You may also request in person at our Customer Service Centre in PWC or Toa Payoh, or mail to

Important points to note

a) Termination of Gas Supply
For termination of gas supply, City Gas charges a termination fee of $32.10 (Inclusive of GST) for residential premises. Separate gas appliance disconnection fee is charged if required.

b) Refund of Security Deposit

Upon closing of account, we will process your final bill and arrange for any credit balance to be refunded to you. You should receive your final bill and refund, if any, within a month.

c) GIRO
If your account is under GIRO, the GIRO arrangement will be terminated after we have deducted the final charges from your GIRO bank account.

d) Express service

Express termination required on the same day can be arranged, subject to availability of appointment and at least 3 hours advance notice is required. An express service charge of $64.20 (inclusive of GST) is applicable on working weekdays/ Saturdays.
